Every service at CatsOnly is delivered through the lens of feline behavioral science, ensuring care is both clinically effective and thoughtfully experienced.
The foundation of a long, healthy life begins with consistent, proactive care. Every wellness visit is built around the individual Cat, their life stage, environment, sensory needs, and history. We follow ISFM wellness guidelines and tailor every plan to where your Cat is in their life and health journey.
Accurate diagnosis begins with the right information, gathered with the least stress possible. Our in-house capabilities allow us to act quickly and decisively, while our commitment to feline-specific interpretation means we consider behavior, emotional state, and context alongside every result.
Dental disease is among the most common and most overlooked sources of chronic pain in Cats. Oral health at CatsOnly is never optional or cosmetic, it is a core component of whole-body wellness.
Feline oral health is a complex and critically important area of medicine. We have dedicated a full resource page to Cat Parent education on dental disease, the COHAT procedure, home care, and what to expect.
Every surgical procedure begins well before the operating room. Managing fear, pain, and stress before, during, and after surgery is not a courtesy, it is medicine. Every Cat under anesthesia at CatsOnly has a dedicated, credentialed monitoring technician, and regional nerve blocks are used for all surgical and dental procedures.
CatsOnly does not perform elective onychectomy (declawing). We follow the FelineVMA’ position that scratching is a normal feline behavior and that declawing impairs feline welfare by inhibiting their ability to perform that behavior.
Long-term consequences of declawing include chronic pain, behavioral changes, and increased litter box avoidance. Our team is trained in alternatives, including appropriate scratching surfaces and environmental enrichment, regular nail trims, nail caps, and behavior consultation for problematic scratching.

Cats are biologically distinct from every other species. Their metabolism, pain pathways, stress responses, and disease presentations are uniquely their own. Every medical decision is evidence-based, individualized, and delivered with the understanding that emotional wellbeing and physical health are inseparable. Behavior is a vital sign.
Behavior is not attitude. It is information. At CatsOnly, behavior consultations are a core component of the whole-patient approach, not an add-on or a last resort. A Cat who is showing behavioral changes is a Cat who is communicating something clinically significant.
Behavioral concerns are among the most common reasons Cats are surrendered to shelters. Most of these cases are treatable. Early consultation, before behaviors become entrenched, produces the best outcomes for the Cat, the Cat Parent, and the bond they share.
When something worries you about your Cat after clinic hours, you should not have to face it alone. CatsOnly has built a seamless after-hours support system, because 3 AM worry is real, and it deserves a real response.
After hours, callers to the CatsOnly phone line are automatically connected to our trusted after-hours triage partner, a team of experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) with an average of over 10 years in the field, many with backgrounds in emergency medicine. They will answer your call, listen to your concern, and guide you clearly: whether that means heading to an emergency hospital right now, monitoring safely at home, or booking first thing when we open.
This is not a voicemail. This is not a recording. This is a real, trained, licensed professional who understands cats and is there for you.
Your Cat’s care does not live only in our exam rooms. The CatsOnly App is where the Care Journey continues, a single, secure place for everything that keeps your Cat’s health moving forward between visits.
CatsOnly is committed to advancing feline medicine beyond the walls of our hospitals. We will be exploring partnerships to give our patients access to clinical trials that provide access to emerging diagnostics and therapeutics.
