We follow wellness guidelines from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) and tailor every plan to where your Cat is in their life and health journey.

02 Diagnostics & Imaging

Accurate diagnosis begins with the right information, gathered with the least stress possible. Our in-house capabilities allow us to act quickly and decisively, while our commitment to feline-specific interpretation means we consider behavior, emotional state, and context alongside every result.

03 Dentistry & Oral Health

Dental disease is among the most common and most overlooked sources of chronic pain in Cats. Oral health at CatsOnly is never optional or cosmetic, it is a core component of whole-body wellness.

Important: Anesthesia-free dental procedures are not offered at CatsOnly and should not be performed. They are not a safe or effective alternative to proper dental care under anesthesia.
04 Surgery & Anesthesia

Every surgical procedure begins well before the operating room. Managing fear, pain, and stress before, during, and after surgery is not a courtesy, it is medicine. Every Cat under anesthesia at CatsOnly has a dedicated, credentialed monitoring technician, and regional nerve blocks are used for all surgical and dental procedures.

We Are a Claw Friendly Veterinary Practice

CatsOnly does not perform elective onychectomy (declawing). We follow the FelineVMA’s position that scratching is a normal feline behavior and that declawing impairs feline welfare by inhibiting their ability to perform that behavior.

Long-term consequences of declawing include chronic pain, behavioral changes, and increased litter box avoidance. Our team is trained in alternatives, including appropriate scratching surfaces and environmental enrichment, regular nail trims, nail caps, and behavior consultation for problematic scratching.

Behavior is not attitude. It is information. At CatsOnly, behavior consultations are a core component of the whole-patient approach, not an add-on or a last resort. A Cat who is showing behavioral changes is a Cat who is communicating something clinically significant.

Many behavioral presentations, aggression, elimination outside the box, hiding, over-grooming, have underlying medical causes. At CatsOnly, every behavior consultation begins with a thorough physical examination and, where indicated, diagnostics. We treat the whole Cat, not just the symptom.

CatsOnly utilizes a network of Certified Cat Behavior Consultants (CCBC) and veterinary behaviorists to provide options tailored to your Cat’s specific needs. Our trained and experienced Care Teams work alongside these specialists to ensure continuity across every visit.

Defensive or fear-responsive behaviors, inter-Cat tension, litter box avoidance, anxiety and phobias, aggression, hiding and withdrawal, excessive vocalization, destructive scratching, and personality changes in senior Cats that may indicate cognitive or systemic disease.
